優點

• 更復刻＆原始More authentic and original
• Results in nicer fading pattern around denim bottoms
• 造成更好的龍捲風效果刷色Better “roping” effects (i.e. twisted, rope-like look at denim bottoms)

缺點

• 很難做到，只有在特別機台才有Difficult to have done (since chain stitching must be done on Union Special machine since chain stitching can only be done on a special sewing machine)
• 趨向稀有Tends to unravel
• 在內面Only noticeable on the inside (i.e. after you cuff)

優點Advantages

• Stronger stitch
• Much cheaper
• More accessible of a service

缺點Disadvantages

• Aesthetically more unnatural (however, this vary between denim, material, etc.)
• Less appealing to some due to weaker “roping” effect
